ROLE TO CAST

Role to Cast is a weekly TTRPG actual play podcast with trained actors, original music & homebrew campaigns. Each season explores a new tabletop roleplaying game with a different member of the team taking the role of storyteller. Episodes are tightly edited with a brand new soundtrack for each season to deliver an immersive, audio drama style experience. In 2021, Role to Cast was recognised by the Australian Podcast Awards with a nomination to the Best Fiction category, and in 2022 we won the Silver ENNIE Award for Best Podcast.

Between seasons we sit down with the creators and designers of the games we play to explore their passions and see what makes them tick. We’ve featured - among others - Mike Pondsmith (R. Talsorian Games - Cyberpunk 2020 & RED), Doug Levandowski & Jonathan Gilmour (Renegade Game Studios - Kids on Bikes) and Justin Achilli (White Wolf - Vampire: The Masquerade).

MADNESS OF TWO

Madness of Two is an exciting new theatre company, founded by award-winning theatre-makers, Ellen Graham and Jamie Hornsby. Using their own special blend of innovative writing, devised theatre- making, whimsy and charm, Madness of Two tackles important issues in non-traditional ways. The company creates work in multiple genres, with multiple styles, and for multiple demographics, with a strong focus on young and diverse audiences.

Madness of Two’s first production, Dead Gorgeous: A True Crime Clown Show was developed in the inaugural season of RUMPUS and premiered in the 2020 Adelaide Fringe. Next up was Claire Della and the Moon, premiering later that year and winning two AWGIE Awards including the prestigious David Williamson Prize for Excellence in Writing for Australian Theatre. It returned in 2023 for two acclaimed seasons at DreamBIG Children’s Festival and AWESOME Arts Festival.

Their next collaboration, Starweaver, will premiere in 2024, featuring a thrilling, genre-busting blend of theatrical excellence and cutting edge live CGI technology.
